Hi, I’m Lexy! I grew up in Goodyear, AZ, ruining my parents’ carpet and making mud pies in my elementary school desk. All a part of my journey to becoming an artist. Growing up in a historic agricultural town, I have always felt a draw to the timelessness of the West.

I moved to Tucson in 2012, I found an interest in glassblowing which grew into a passion. Before moving out of state, I earned an Associates in Fine Arts from the Pima Community College.

In the big city of Denver, CO, I continued to work with glass, as well as watercolors while attending welding school to build the skills that are foundational to my future artworks.

I travelled back to Tucson, working on a horse ranch to start earning my “cowboy points” before attending the University of Arizona, graduating with honors and my Bachelors of Fine Arts in 2023. I have since designed and built two operas alongside composer Michael Vince and director Cynthia Stokes. Returning to the greater Phoenix area, I found myself working in the art restoration scene, bringing new life to pieces damaged in house fires, floods, and sorrowful falls. My current projects are based on a focus of taking objects that are waste-bound and transforming them into monumental celebrations of the trade and commerce of my home state.
